Events

     Obviously things have been slow with the Coronavirus. Its been a year now since we have gotten together for any kind of gathering or festable. We still maintain our "What are we doing" page even though or  "Events" page is a little sparse. Hopefully things will change and by the end of summer we can gather for ceremony once again. Stay safe and blessings to all.







  October also brought us some very good news. As of Oct. 3, 2011 MNA (Metis Nation of America) now has a sister Band located in Ohio. Welcome to our newest Brothers and Sisters as we continue to grow and bring back our culture and wonderful heritage.

  This years International Metis-fest is being held July 27th - 29th, 2012 in Killarney, Manitoba, Canada at the new Shamrock Center! Please note this year's gathering is eariler than last years. For more information go to:

  I am happy to say "thousands" of Michif show up for this event. There was jigging and dancing and music galor... and the food!!! We will post some pictures as soon as they become available.
